REGULAR SERVICES

After school support
Our support workers are able to pick up your young person and either bring them back to our respite centre to do some activities, take them out in the community or bring them home to deliver in-home support.

Support during suspensions or school absences
Unfortunately, school suspensions happen, usually at the most inconvenient times. We are able to provide support workers for the time you need. We can provide in-home support or we can provide support in our respite facility. Minimum care is 3 hours.
Support when you need it

Tell us when you need support and we will work with you to find the right match!

REspite Care

Respite Care (in our facility)
Our Respite Care is provided on a short term basis throughout the week and a part of a weekend program (4pm Friday to 4pm Sunday).

In Home Respite
Respite can be provided in your home, as required.

EMERGENCY/

CRISIS EMERGENCY

We are able to provide respite care for your young person at short notice either in your home or at our respite accommodation.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAMS

We have two comprehensive school holiday programs.

AT OUR RESPITE HOUSE OR WITHIN THE COMMUNITY

Some activities do not attract an additional charge and will be delivered as part of the carer support at the respite property or our in the community.

Some activities attract a low additional cost to cover materials and some activities attract admission rates for the young person (additional cost if there is no companion card for the carer to use).
There are activities to suit all kinds of budget.

Specific Clubs/Group Activities

Dungeons & Dragons Club
In December 2021, we are commencing Dungeons and Dragons (DnD) ‘one-shot’ role playing sessions. Role-playing is a great way for participants to assume a role of a character (we have created characters) and interact with others. It involves storytelling and working with others to solve puzzles and problems. A ‘One shot’ session refers to a one-night only campaign, so there is no longer term commitment or disruption if people don’t show up. A one shot campaign is a 3 hour program.
Depending on interest, we may develop longer term campaigns.

After School Clubs

Some afternoon clubs are being developed. We would love to hear your ideas.

Dungeons & Dragons

DnD club commences on the first week of School Holidays on a Wednesday evening 6:30pm – 9:30pm.

Pool and Darts

Participants have the opportunity to book 1 hour sessions in afternoon to play pool or darts with a carer. Bookings can be made with a single participant or with another participant.

Movie & Theatre Club

Ever wanted to go and see a theatre or stage production? We are offering some opportunities to go to matinee and evening shows.  Our first event is scheduled early December.

Markets & Rummage Sales

We provide support to participants to go to weekend markets, rummage sales, car boot sales and night markets.

Travel/Transport

We can provide travel/transport as part of our service delivery.
